large 5 subject sprial note book? You know like the kids use for school? I would like to cover mine. Any instructions, someone could share? hugs sheila
Well, hopefully the cover is slightly stiff. Lay the notebook open flat over the wrong side of the fabric and cut out 1 1/2-2"" larger all the way around with pinking shears and pull over the edges and glue in place. If you wanted to get a bit fancy you could then make an inside cover to cover up the pinked raw edges by measuring around each front and back cover with enough allowance to hem all 4 sides of each. Glue in place over the raw edges left from the front side. You could add lace, ribbon, rick-rack, etc to spice it up. The spiral metal hinge thing would end up being enclosed in fabric. Is that what you had in mind?
Jami About the glue I don't have a glue gun ; and I can't use one because of the problems with my hands what kind of glue could I use. I have some I got it is a glue stitch for quilting could I use that. Or what kind would you suggest? Hugs sheila
