Do any of you have a favorite piece of Tupperware? Why? Or, do you have favorite memories, such as playing with Tupperware toys, using Tupperware in family recipes, hosting/attending a party? (For instance: Did your Dad melt your mom's favorite bowl, or did every kid in your family play with the Shape-O-Toy?)

In honor of TW's birthday month, I want to feature memories on my blog and that could include you & your comment, with a link to your blog or website. Help me to celebrate TW's 63 years, and let's help each other build readership on our blogs. You can post your comments here in a reply, or use the forum email feature.

I am also hosting a giveaway on the May 5th post at Today's Organized Kitchen. (Link in signature) To enter, go to http://www.myorganizedkitchen.com/ and sign up for my monthly newsletter in the form on the right hand side of the page.

Thanks!

I love tupperware! lol
My Mom had tupperware and parties too while I was growing up. When I married and moved away, she gave me some of her pieces. I love finding good usable pieces at the thrift shops.
So many things stand out for me. I like something as simple as the scoops, they are so easy to fill measuring cups with flour or sugar. I just got a lettuce keeper and it keeps the lettuce fresher longer, so nice.
My grandma has a huge bowl and mixes her cinnamon rolls in it, it's such a nice big bowl. I remember mixing cookies in my mom's bowls or eating popcorn our of them. They lasted forever! I found a set of the square red and green plates and got those for the kids. They are just the right size and last up wash after wash. I have a set of pastels from my mom that we used growing up, and we are using them everyday. I even had my own little set of the green and red plates and cups. Loved playing with them!

I love tupperware...and have sold it twice..once years ago when oldest son..who is 31 now..was a toddler and later when my two oldest boys were in high school.
My favorite is the quick shake. I couldn't live without a few. I take our eggs, when we go camping, all in the quickshake container in the cooler, ready to shake and pour in to a pan for scrambled eggs. It will hold a dozen shelled raw eggs...perfect!! I use it for making gravy, and all sorts of other stuff...salad dressing, you name it..that puppy (I have three actually) gets used daily.
