Here are a couple pictures of the half apron I re-designed for my MIL Made with 100%cotton and it is fully lined with two deep pockets.
Sorry, the pictures don't do it justice, I wish I was better at that! Joanna #566 JojoNH

JOANNA, That is so pretty, I love that you lined it, and deep pockets are the best on an apron. Nancy Jo

Thank you! I made the pockets deeper, since she carries things like seed packets, tissue, clothes pins etc. I remember she would complain that "the pockets are never big enough to hold much of anything"
I love a lined apron too, somehow it has a "glamorous feel" when it is lined. Just thought she could use a little pampering. Glad you like it.

I like the apron, great job! I never thought about lining one, I think that's a good idea. Can I be your mother in law, too? |

Yes! I am in Scranton....it's a big city. Avoca is very close but we never see anyone wearing an apron unless it's at their job and they have to...lol
I would LOVE to start seeing women wearing their aprons to the store...!

Thank you! An Yes, she loved it!! Tucked a package of morning glory seeds ( an heirloom variety) into the pocket along with a home made card. When we talked with her yesterday, she already had the seeds soaking and the container ready for planting them!
She even said," I have never seen a lined apron before! It is just to pretty to wear. . ." So I assured her it is machine washable and dryable for years of service. . . after all, an apron "wants" to be worn, not be tucked away in a drawer! LOL! She agreed.

I am so glad she like it.....of course she would, because it was one classy apron, and I love the lining. Linings make everything easier to wear, don't you think? Good job.
