Hi Mavens,

A few months ago several of you told me you were coming to the BBB and were going to stay with me. As you know, it's less than two months until the BBB, so I would appreciate it if I could get an actual head count as to how many are going to be staying with me. That is, if you want me to have enough food, toliet paper, blankets, etc LOL!

Teresa Sue - Cheryl and I will be going to the BBB but have booked the house at the Tamarack Rv Resort with a few other gals. It would be great if we could meet up with you all. Is the Resort far from your home?

Gail if the resort is in CDA, I'm about an hours drive south of the resort. Basically I am in the middle, as in it is an hours drive north to CDA, Spokane, and Cheney and an hours drive south to Pullman and Moscow. However, I am only 9 miles from Oakesdale where the Old Mill is.
We all def need to get together somehow!

Friday night there is a "gathering" at the Resort's Mall and MaryJanes store, from 7-9 ( for those that are looking for something to do, prior there is an art walk at the park at the resort. Afterwards Mirabaue Park Hotel in Spokane Valley ( where many of us are staying) is having a dance. Anyone can come, even if you aren't staying there....

Of course Sat. Morning we are meeting up at HURD's in Rockford's Mercantile (Map's will be provided). For our trip down the Palouse. Tekoa (where Teresa lives) is one of the stops. One of the places is a local farm, where lemonade and Ice tea will be served and places to chit chat provided.

Once in Oakesdale - there will be places to sit and relax and take in the day (and sunshine)... both at the city park, in the down town area historic building and at the lawn at the Mill.

The same is true in Palouse.

While there will be lots to do over the weekend, we also "built in" plenty of "down time" should gals and their friends and family want and need it.

I would be happy to put a table up at the event Friday night for a "Maven's check in", if that would help.

I would also suggest that any of the mavens who wanted, could find tables together at the Sunday Luncheon.

Hey TS.. maybe we all want to wear our maven badges too... as a quick visual :)

I'd LOVE to be able to say ME ME ME! I'm looking forward to meeting some of you at Spring Fling, the BBB trip sounds like a fabulous adventure...but I think I'm a bit shy and seems like you all know each other so well already! Finding it a bit difficult to just "jump in" the convo here...you all seem to be having so much fun!

Hi June! I'm kinda shy in person too. Jump right in sister! we love to chat. Come over to the Maven teatime thread and chat away.=)

TS. Since I'm helping with my friend's booth I will only be up there the last day =( so I won't need to stay over night. Hope to meet you sooner. Maybe we can all come up with a good meet up date in Moscow in early June ! Thank you soo soo much for the invitation to stay with you and I wish I could do the entire BB&B. I hope all of the Mavens have a blast =)

Hey Dawn! Ya didn't think I was shy?! I certainly had a lovely visit with you...in hindsight though, you should have put me to work planting, etc! Meant to ask how much are ya selling your plants for? And that dessert you shared was yummy! Thanks for the visit...we need to get together more often!
Wish I could go on the BBB adventure, too...kinda feel like I'm outta the loop here, will have to get over being "shy" and get to know the gals here! Where and when are you flying out? To what airport? Coming back when?

Teresa Sue, maybe I could stay at your house too - the fence isn't going to fall down and there aren't any Bassett Hounds or teenage boys there are there? Just kidding....we will have to try to set up a meeting point, with my work schedule situation I'm pretty sure I will only be able to catch bits and pieces of the BBB. I usually work on the 4th - I figure the boss should work some holidays so I do that and New Years Day - but I can get off really early.

June, I'm flying out June 30 and coming back July 7. I tried seeing if it'd be cheaper for less days and it wasn't. I can't remember who I'm flying out on. Continental? But I have to take Alaska Airlines from Seattle to whereever I'm supposed to be. There are no such animals as direct flights anymore.... I will call you when I have more details. We had a death in the family yesterday so I'm just gonna catch up here and then be on my way.

I can't wait girls!

I'd wear the Maven badge but mine is attached to my levi jacket and it may be too warm by July. How about we attach a sunflower or something else on our outfit and along with the sign in sheet, maybe we could all find each other.
Teresa Sue thanks for making a list of who is coming and all. Great idea.

Too warm in July, hahahahahahahahaha. Gail, unless this turns out to be a different year, you will probably need your jean jacket, at least part of the time. Especially in the evening. I've known it to rain right through the 3 of July, even the 4th, then it will clear off for the fireworks, hehehehehe......now that I've said that it will be a scorcher, lol.

Hi Teresa Sue- I think we are going to try to stay with a friend or get a hotel room in Spokane. My dad is coming with my mom and he kindof likes his privacy for getting ready in the morning! Can't wait to meet you though!
