I have had this unbelieveable craving for this candy from my past. I made the mistake of picking one up at the store last week. *ok 2 they were buy one get one. So of course it was unthinkable to take only one. But since then I have purchased at least 8 more. I love them cold so they break in pieces..when you Smack themon a hard surface.. they are not low calorie however 230 per bar. Does anyone else get these candy cravings out of the blue...I usually go for the savory snacks or fruit so I don't know whats going on with my tastebuds...

Well, last week I went to Fresh Market and got some of their peanut butter cookies with a big ole plop of chocolate on top. OMG, what bliss! My DDs ate a few, too, so it's not like I ate all 6 of them. But I went back today and got 6 more. That's all they had or I would have gotten more. She said they were making more in about half an hour but didn't want to wait. I can always go back. It's right next to Hobby Lobby, so I will be back for more. Those things are very addictive. Paenut butter and chocolate all at once. Who could ask for anything more?

I also got one of the new mint 3 Muskateers candy bar and it was so warm today it melted down to nothing in the car. Had to put it in the fridge. So I guess there must be something in the air, Cheryl, with all these sweet cravings.

Go ahead and eat those candy bars. You'll work them off in the garden!

Kris

Cheryl..
I swear we have to be long lost "twins".... that is/was my all time favorite candy as a child.... MMMMM!!!! I say "got for it" just a little chunck and you can just let it melt in your mouth.. well it may take all day for it to "melt", but then in the long run, look at all the calories you are sparing yourself with the other things you can't put in there while the thing disolves.....................a win win I would say! Can you even still find them?, I would have bought them out.. just in case....

Sorry Carol, I guess this time you are the angel on the shoulder and I am the little red guy with the pitch fork... but I like pitch forks......

I have never had a Big Hunk nougat bar. It sounds good. Is it similar to a Charleston Chew? Those are good!

I often have "cravings" for things from my childhood. I think it's pretty normal. Something comforting, something that takes to a place where it was safe maybe... I remember this chocolate bar I had in Washington state from my honeymoon (first marriage) I can't recall name but it was a mountain...pnut butter mountain maybe...anyway, many years ago I was craving them so bad I ordered a case of them online. (I have no idea if they still exist now)... I was surprised when they weren't as "yummy" as I remembered. (neither was the marriage..perhaps that's why...LOL) And...oh these wonderful cookies my grandma made. I make them too but I can never get them to "explode" in your mouth with this light buttery confectioners sugar bliss........
