Just wondering has anyone ever intenionally irritated someone?
I will admit I had a neighbor who drove me crazy. So everytime I went somewhere that wanted your name, address + phone number I always gave them hers.
She has moved and I'm sure driving her new neighbors nuts. Does this make me a bad person? I haven't done it in a long long time but sometimes I'm tempted.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

ROFLOL Oooh Diane...you are positively inspiring! I just posted on Heather's thread about my mother.....I could start giving out her info... Hmm...it's an extremely alluring temptation...

Yes. My husband. Especially when he's got the grumps. There are little things that I do that really bug him, so I spend the day doing them until he goes somewhere else (like the basement--he really hates it when I talk to the news programs, so I just switch on CNN and MSNBC and talk back to the television and say unusually narrow minded things. I know that's mean, but our house is too tiny to have a grump in close proximity :)

<giggle> you are bad! Sometimes at work I am a little sarcastic. Like today.... I had a lady call me that just received baby chicks. She calls me and asks me what they need. I'm like... "what do you mean?". She didn't know if they needed water, heat etc etc.... I'm on the opposite end of the phone shaking my head in disbelief. So i ask "did you not think you were getting baby chicks?" She said she knew that. So then I says "did you think to research what baby chicks need before you ordered them?" (nope). I wouldn't tell her anything, I told her to go to the library and read up. I also added that most people research a project like this before bringing them home. I should've (and could've) helped her. But she was a tad bit stuffy and she should've known better... Aww crud, Now I feel bad... maybe I should call her and see how she's fairing.....I know I'm not a bad person, but sheesh... would you get a dog and not think about puppy chow, a chew toy, water, and a collar?? I don't think so.

hehe...Im right there with you Jonni. I can't help but do it to my husband every once in a while.Id like to say I dont do it on purpose, but sometimes I do. Like when he's been especially crabby, Ill wait til he gets in the shower and then turn the hot water tank button to off. Yes its mean, no it doesn't bother me that I do it...LOL

I don't like yelling to fight since weve had kids and I figure all is fair in love and war.

hey dawn, i feel your pain! when you have to deal with someone and it seems like common sense left them its hard to just put on a smile.

(side note: i dont know if this is lost commonsense or lack of manners but while at work today this woman came into the bathroom went to the last stall and proceeded to go to the bathroom....without CLOSING the stall door.)

i think it can make you're day kinda fun though to irritate those that do it to you. and Diane you get a gold star for creativeness!

When I was in the Navy and we were out to sea for many many weeks, there was always so much drama and I cannot stand drama. I was friends with a gal who was the town crier. I would casually drop hints that we were pulling in on such and such a date or to a certain place and like wildfire it was around the ship in 2 days. Just a little fun to break up the boring times at sea!! ; )

During the election, I volunteered at a local campaign office, and went to pick up my son straight from working there one day. A few moms actually accosted my in the halls, and made sarcastic comments because I was wearing a campaign button for a candidate they hated. They were so out of line and rude, and really embarassed me.

I made sure to wear campaign shirts for the next month, just to tick them off some more.

Boy I sure have enjoyed reading this this morning! LOL! I needed the laughs! Its great! Some wonderful ideas too.

Wish the hot water one would work in my house. Sure would get the kids out of the shower faster!

I don't think I have, but I wish I could. The gal I work with right now is irritating me beyond human endurance and I just wish I could find a way to get her, but I can't.

when I was a teenager, my step dad would blast polka music at insane decibels (sp) at 7am in the morning....yup. I was a tad bit irritated.

Kay, when someone at work is on my last nerve. I do the sing-song princess voice. Anything you say to her say it as if Snow White or Cinderella were talking to the animals. Makes em madder than a wet hen!

Kay... I'm dealing w/the same thing. Girl that sits behind me thinks we all want to hear her chew ice all day in an office that's so quiet. Sounds like she's chewing rocks. That's one of her many annoyances.

If talking in a princess voice for me would work Dawn, I sure would try it. But since she makes a habit of using a baby voice every time she's on the phone I don't think it will phase her. I try not to talk to her if I dont have to. I think its great that you do that!

Kelly, if it's a big office place a glass of cotton balls on her desk with a note saying Please chew on this the ice is way to noisy.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Ha Ha Diane..great idea! You sure come up w/some good ones. I just have to try that. I see you live in Blasdell. My SIL & her family do too. I am originally from the Buffalo area, but moved here to Tx almost 14 years ago. Most of my family & all of DH's is there. I miss it & would love to move back some day. Would love to get a farm somewhere up there.

I've only lived here for 3 years. I'm from Attica it's about 30 miles from here. I drove to west Seneca from Attica everyday for work when I retired I moved up here it's only 7 miles from where I worked.
I was in Texas @ fort Sam Houston for a few months. I loved Texas, we had the blizzard of 77 in NY at that time so Texas was great.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

We had some really nasty, grouchy neighbors when my kids were young and they yelled at all the kids in the neighborhood for no reason.
One day, I was in a mood. These crabby people owned a pizza restaurant. So, I called every pizza place in town and ordered pizzas in their name delivered to their house.
We sat on the porch and laughed every time they told the delivery boy that they had not ordered them. 10 pizzas in about a half hours time.
I know it was mean and childish but it was very satisfying.
the best part was that most of the delivery boys asked us if we wanted the pizzas for free. So we took em.

This thread is hilarious! Isn't it wonderful to be just a bit naughty once in a while? My MIL drives me crazy. She just talks and talks and talks. She will call on the phone and say "I won't keep you but just a minute" and an hour later she's still talking. We all check the caller id and if we see it's her we argue over who was the last one to talk to her. It doesn't matter that you're in the middle of something important, eating dinner, etc. She is a huge Portland Trailblazers fan. I've called her before and she'd say "I have to go in 5 minutes because the Blazers are on." They were in the playoffs last week and I told my husband that we should call his mom right before the game started just to have a chat. It would have been fun to get a little bit of revenge on her.
