Please forgive if this has been discussed. I am new here and am working on the Fancy Work Apron from MJ's book. It's going very, very well until the last paragraph of instructions. Has anyone made this apron and willing to help me with the ties? I don't see where to sew the ties to eliminate the raw edges. Thank you. Sara

Hi Sara,

For the apron ties, just do a standard apron tie hem by folding the long edges and the tip of each tie under 1/8 inch and stitching and then folding under 1/8 inch again and stitching BEFORE attaching ties to apron. (Or if you're real handy with an iron, you can press under 1/8 inch, turn again 1/8 inch, and stitch only once.)

I hope that answers your question.

Let us know if we can be of help in any other way!
