We find out for sure on Friday. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath huge house in the middle of a 5000 acre ranch. We only have the house, not the ranch...durn it. It's so quiet you can hear your heart beat if you sit still too long. Big fenced yard and a pasture for my horse. Plenty of riding space too!! Also, my allergies seem to go away there. When we came home, my allergies flared right back up!
Keep your fingers crossed! I was almost afraid to post this as it might jinx the deal somehow...
*fingers crossed*

Thank you! Y'know, I don't know exactly what 'baited breath' means...I'll have to look that one up! Will let you know!
I got to thinking that in my post the other day, I said I didn't want big but when I walked into that house (our potential house), the size of the living room was just fantastic. It's big, airy and open. Maybe I do want big after all!! Just a bit more vaccuuming is all...hehehe...

That sounds so good. Will you be caretaking or just have your space? 5000 acres is way beyond what I can even picture. Is it in Colorado too?

So far, it's still on for paper-signing on Friday...I keep thinking that something is going to come up but it's still a go.
Nope, just renting the house and not doing anything for the ranch. However...everyone else that lives on the ranch works in some capacity for it. Since we both can drive trucks, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Such as hauling livestock or driving a tractor.
Our 5th wheel is so big that we're leaving it in situ as it's so heavy, just a pain to move it. Plus we can use the money to help get moved. So I have it listed on craigslist now if the neighbor's brotherinlaw doesn't buy it.
Hanging in till Friday and trying to clean the 5th wheel so in case someone wants to take a lookie-loo, we're prepared.

Forgot to mention, another reason it'll be hard to move the 5th wheel is that we built a 7 x 24 ft deck and it's all tied together. However, if we can't sell it, we'll keep it and get it moved with the flatbed pickup.

I always loved the saying "waiting with 'bated breath" My one of my English professors explained that 'bated is actually an abbreviation dating back to 1250 of "abated" So the saying is literally saying that you are waiting with your breath held... which puts a whole spin to when kids say "don't hold your breath!" I doubt they know they are actually referring to a centuries old literary reference!
