We had a rain last night and this morning I noticed 1 sneezing then another, then another... There are 8 hens 1 rooster about 4 weeks old. Should I be worried? They all seem happy and eating and drinking fine. They are in a cardboard box in the house but I had the window open last evening and it was pretty humid with the rain coming. Their poop seems normal...I have noticed they are a little more stinky than normal but I figured it was they are getting older, eating more and pooping bigger?! Any ideas?

How are they all tonight? I had a few do that but they were older. I had to separate the sick ones and give them neomyacin (because that's what I had) and electrolytes. You may need to separate the ones that are sneezing and give them some antibiotics to get them through this. I am no expert at all. This is just what I did. One of them never did get better and we had to put her down. But the other one is fine. This crazy weather is a problem for lots of critters.

Hope they get better.

Still some sneezing...but eyes, noses still look fine. Everyone is eating and drinking and growing. Someone has runny poo carmel brown...but I haven't been able to notice who is doing it. I read on backyard chickens some sneezing is normal...but the smelly runny poo has me concerned.

Well, that sounds good then. BYC is a great place to go for info. I am a member there, too. Just in case. Just keep an eye on them. They should be ok. How's the weather there? My hubby's been in the Houston area most of the week and he said it was rainy. He's finally heading back to Ga. It's cool here today. Had to turn on the fireplace.

OH we are reaching record temps here in Texas! Could get up to 100* today! It's like a hot hair dryer outside!! The coop is almost finished so chicks should be moving on out by next week. Maybe temps will cool a little by then!
