There was a tea party in my town tonight from 7-9 on the riverfront in downtown. I did not get to attend, but cannot wait to see the turnout.

Sheryl-lyn, thanks for responding.....

I'm thrilled to say that my state of Tennessee had an overwhelming crowd of 10,000 people met on the Legislative Plaza, spilling into sidewalks and up the hill toward the Capitol building. That info came off the website..it is giving regular updates of turnouts...

I know Chattanooga had one here at the river. A friend of mine went. I'll talk to her tomorrow and see how it went.

My hubby attended the one in St Louis last night. He also attended the one that was held the end of February. He said there was a large turnout at both.

I would have attended the one in Eau Claire, WI, had I known about it in time. Very interesting times!

I went to the one in our hometown. There was a good turnout despite the fact it was cold and drizzly. It was very inspiring and a kick off for more action. I was touched by what was being said there.

Hello, Elaine..so glad you made it to your local tea party..yes, there were many people that stood in the rain and snow to let our President, Senators, Representatives, etc. know how we really feel. It was a fantastic turnout nationwide.

Our family had a great time at the Olympia, WA Tea Party. There were over 7,000 people there. DH & kids first one, but not there last. Our dd in UT told the kids not to let mom burn her bra...he-he. They didn't know why I would do that, so we talked about the 60/70's protest. It was a great homeschooling day they won't forget. :)

YAY!! Another family that attended. It really was a family event considering the children and grandchildren are going to be strapped with so much debt.....luckily, the parents are teaching their children right now about what will happen to their future if they don't know how to handle their vote in the future.

Thanks so much for responding,
Stephanie

Mary, my daughter, and I went to the Tea Party in Salem, Oregon where we met up with my brother, two of his sons and his son in law. There was a record turn out for agendas like this, they said. Mary and I stood on the Capital steps and were therefore photographed often and included in many videos and other publicized areas.
We also have plans to attend future events as often as possible.
Nice to see that some of the Farm Girls also have included themselves in this cause.
Blessings,
Pauline

Kristine,

Exactly!!! LOL Farmgirls for Freedom fits perfect within this topic..It is a spot to provide information, concerns and links in a peaceful and loving manner. We can link out to our other sites to have more specific discussions.

Thanks for speaking up....and please let me know what's happening in your area when you come across it.

If your state has a website for their "post" tax day tea party please post that link here.

Thanks, Stephanie

I didn't go the tea parties, but I am a freedom supporter. I think its time we take our country back before its too late. I hope every politician that sit by and didn't vote or gave into this insanity gets booted out in the next election. I hope we don't get to the point we did in the depression and the government maked us kill our livestock and turn our gold.

i must have missed this thread... but i just wanted to add my 2 cents worth... i'm glad to see some freedom fighters like myself on here! i attended my first tea party on the 4th of July in Cheyenne, WT. i was a bit dissapointed, mostly because i thought there would have been a larger show of support and because it didn't last long enough for me. but i'm glad this movement is taking hold....

Hello Elizabeth,

So sorry there wasn't a large turnout....but keep the heart...there are many ways that *just you* can push forward....It seems that more and more complete strangers are talking to one another these days due to the unsettling chain of events that are continuously unfolding.

Stay Strong and thanks so much for posting!
