to where I might find the book A is for Apron. I've looked all over the place. Books stores (Barnes&Nobles and Borders) either have it sold out or have a recommendation where I can get it(They don't know when they'll get it again.)
I have it on hold at the library, but then I have to give it back when Im done..hehe...as if Ill ever be done. :)
Maybe Amazon.com?

Any suggestions? Id really love to read it but it seems to be evading me.
hugs

Jessie,

I often purchase used books from Amazon. I make sure that they come from a non-smoking home (Allergies) and make sure that the seller's rating and feedback are high. Good luck :)

I bought mine from Crafter's Choice Book Club. If you're a new member you get 4 books @ $1 each then have to buy
2 books over the next year. I've been a member for several years. They always have great deals on books or on shipping. That's actually how I was introduced to Mary Jane's Farm. I saw the cover of her Life book & I just had to have it! Then I got one for my sister too. Here is the link- http://www.crafterschoice.com/ecom/pages/nm/nmhomepage.jsp

Please be aware that there are many known errors in that book! The publisher has posted the errata pages on their website. Someone mis-sized the pattern diagrams when they did the layout; therefore, some parts now have to be enlarged, say, 400% while another part on the same page might have to be enlarged 512%, etc.

One of the designers for that book has an Etsy shop and she sells copies directly herself for $14.50:

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22303133

I purchased an apron from her and she is nice to work with and ships quickly.

I could not find the errata on my own at the publisher's site (despite searching) but found it via a link someone had posted elsewhere (maybe in an Amazon review?) which I no longer have... but I DO have downloaded files of the errata, so if you can't find them yourself online, please email me privately if you need them sent to you. I would hate for anyone to have a fruitless sewing experience.

Found it! http://www.larkbooks.com/expert/book-corrections

The book is very cute! I wish the publisher would have actually re-sized the diagrams in the corrections, though, rather than requiring users to make multiple enlargements of a single page at various sizes! Hope future editions will be correct...

Thanks girls!! I didn't know there were errors like that in it either. Is there another book that is along those same lines that you all could recommend?

Jessie,
There is a thread on here that is something like 934 free crafts. They have some great apron patterns.

Blessings,
