I know someone started a thread about Klean Kanteens... but I can't find it so... here is a new one.
I have wanted to get one for myself for a long time, and just haven't. But, I have finally gotten tired of water bottles, even being really bad and re-using them, cause re-useing is better then pitching them all the time, right? At least that was my rational. Well, anyway, I decide to just order one and be done with it. I am really trying to go organic and green, this is another step in the right direction. So, as I was ordering myself one, I decided to get one for my 3 girls and 2 son in laws for Easter gifts. Yep, it was pricey, but in the long run, with as much water we all drink, and water bottles we 're-use', it was well worth it. So, to whoever started the original thread, promting me to live a little bit better, thanks. I reckon that's what we farmgirls are all about!

I had a stainless water "bottle" and left it in my truck one night with water that froze in it and caused a crack (and leak!) in the seam on the bottom. I don't think it was a KLEEN KANTEEN, but if your containers have any seams on them I'd suggest not letting them freez or intentionall freeze them like I used to do with my bike water bottle. For everyday use I use a used KNUDSEN or any brand juice jar as a water bottle. Easy to clean, refrigerate, and after a few months recycle it and use a "new" used juice bottle. Just have to remember to not let it freeze in the truck, either!
