It would be fun to know how some of you picked your MJ Farmgirl names. Some of them are quite unique.

Ranchetta was an accident...I thought once I was on the site I would get to come up with another, fancier name. LOL Duuuuhhhhh....is me!

So let's hear about your names.....!!!!

My mom used to tell me I should have been born 100 years earlier than I was because I have always liked old fashioned stuff, especially kitchen gadgets and I use them too, so that is where I got oldfashioned girl!

My name is Belle and I love to garden. Love to grow bell peppers, hot peppers, tomatoes and greenbeans. One of my favorite dishes is sutffed bell peppers. I thought Bellepepper sounded better than Bellebean or Salsa something. Althought I can jalapeno peppers that we call Pistol Packin Mamma's bread and butter pickled jalapenos. Hot, sweet and sour. That would be me.

Hey Belle, a little off topic here, but since you like peppers, have you ever canned the banana peppers stuffed with either sauerkraut or sausage? very good!!

I was born, raised, and still living in St. Louis, Missouri, which is known as the "gateway to the West." So I'm a gateway girl.

I am grama to 18 wonderful grandkids. With an unknown number of great-grandkids that is the x. By October I will have 15 greats and only 7 of the grandkids are married so far. They say I am responsable for all of this. HA HA!

Chessie was my first cat as an adult back in 1989, she was also our first cat as a married couple, we've had 7 cats over the last 20 years, but you never forget your first!...Chessie was a cute lil' stinker...need I say more?

Over the years I've had all kinds of animals - chickens, pigs, cows (and of course the usual dogs & cats) but I always wanted sheep for spinning wool. I always told everyone that I wanted a farm animal that I didn't have to eat!! Sooooo....when I finally got my little flock, what else would I be?
