This past Saturday the Northern Oregon Farmgirls had a spring gathering. We all met at Patti Long's wonderful house in NW Portland, that has this fabulous view of the valley and Mount St. Helens. She has 40 acres, mostly woods, that run right up to the edge of Forest Park. Only four of us could make it but we had a wonderful brunch of muffins, fruit and quiche. It was nice to learn more about each other. Patti Starr and Paulette Rees-Denis were the other two members that came and shared their farm girl charm. The high light of the visit had to be Patti Long's heated toilet seat in her guest bath - a little bit of a spa experience for free

Anne, Sounds so lovely, glad that you had such a great time.There is nothing better then getting together with other farmgirls for sure.. I know for some of our farmgirls still experienceing the colder weather.. the toilet seat would be perfect :)
