Beverly, I would love one of your fainting goats for my step daughter (our goat herder!) I'm just not sure how to get one from you to me!!! We're just a bit too far away!!! I just love them!!!

And, why are they called fainting goats? other than the obvious reason? Why do they do that??

Oh my.....well, fainting goats have a condition called Myotonia. It causes their muscles to stiffen up whenever they are excited or startled or scared. This causes them to fall over as if they have fainted. They do not lose consciousness....just look like they do.

As for shipping....we can ship via air....and I am not sure how much that is.

We suggest, however, that you always have at least 2 goats...they are highly social, and would not do well all by themselves.
