Seeing the bulbs starting to bloom, the weather beginning to warm, the sun shining more each day as the snow melts away. It feels as though hope and new life are in the air. A real rejoicing feeling. And I love what Mikki Jo wrote, and I agree!

Daffodils!!!! In the 70s when I was a newlywed and we were BROK as my dh was in the Navy. We were stationed just outside Memphis, Tennessee. When I drove him to the base in the mornings I would see this little Farmhouse with tons of daffodils growing in the ditch out front. One day, I was courageous enough to stop and tell the lady working in the yard, how lovely I thought they were. She told me to cut and take all I wanted wheneve I wanted as she thought they were nothing but weeds and a nuisance. Wow. It really made my day, a lonely Yankee girl with no new friends in the South. I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder Michele
