Hi Tasha.
Our magazine was self-published for the first nine issues, starting with the Premiere Issue and ending with our special stitchery issue, Artists in Aprons. All of those issues, except for the Premiere issue, which was sold out long ago, are available on our website. Issues #2-#7 are available in the "Back Issues Bundle #1." Our Farm Kitchen special recipe issue and our Artists in Aprons special stitchery issue can be purchased singly.

Then last year, we partnered with a publisher to produce our magazine, which allowed us to start publishing bimonthly. Those issues were the ones you noticed the volume numbers on. We have now published six of that new series. Those issues are available on the newsstands in the months specified on the issue (for example, the current issue, April/May). And just like other magazines, those hit the newsstands about two weeks before the issue period, so April/May comes out around mid-March. After those dates, they are no longer available on newsstands, just like any other magazine. But we have made those available on our website in a bundle of four, so you can get the first four issues of the new series in our Back Issues Bundle #2. When we have another four issues under our belt to bundle up, we'll add another bundle. Find all of the back issues here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/backissues.html

As for your subscription, if you've sent that in recently, your subscription should start with the April/May issue, since that issue will be current until mid-May, when the June/July issue will hit newsstands.

Hope this clears everything up. We're so glad to hear you're enjoying our magazine!
