I know that times are really hard for some, so I have been thinking on this for awhile. I have a nice 1500 hundred sq foot home for rent. 350.00 per month. This house has 3 bedrooms, one bath, living room, dining room, kitchen. It is on a farm, you may have outside animals like cows, chickens or horse etc. can have a large garden. It is very quite here . We would like someone wishing to retire to Ky or family with behaved children. This is a nice home, I built it in 1992, only two families have ever lived in it. All the rooms are bigger than normal. Cost of living is very reasonable here

Miss Wilma you should consider renting it out for $350 a week or two for farmgirls and their family that would like to visit, mine are well behaved :0). We could all buy a "time-share" for during the year. I can't even rent a cabin for that amount. If I could I would surely travel more often.

My hubby and I keep talking about retiring to a KY farm but that won't be for many years even when he retires in his fifties.

I have another house I could do that with and am considering it. We are also planning on doing a drop wall tent, So Christina you can just come any old time.I really love children. But I cant handle the boom boxes and just tearing things up for the fun of it. I can really say this the children I have met that belong to the farmgirls are the sweetest children in the world, I wish I could adopt all of them

Hmmmm....wonder how far away you are from me. I'm near St Louis. Do you have any photos of the place that I could show the hubby? I don't have any small children...my 'baby' is 24 yrs old.

Miss Wilma, my dear ones are now in their teens. Thankfully! Although they have always been well behaved, with the exception of a few sibling bouts.

I am definitly going to start saving up some funds for a visit though.

MISS WILMA,
What a great idea, and how lucky for that special person or family that ends up there. It could be me if it wasn't for all the big and little ones here that won't let me go . HA. Glad to see that you seem to be feeling a bit better. We don't like it when you are down.

Miss Wilma - if I could find a job there I'd move my daughter and I'd be there in a heartbeat. It sounds so lovely. That is exactly the type of thing I am looking for when I retire because I won't have much money to pay for rent. But that won't be for another 5 years or so. Good luck on renting it. I know that whoever moves in will be blessed to have you nearby.

Kathy if you will send me your address I will send you some pics, you can email me, I could get a lot more rent but in todays times it breaks my heart to hear what people are having to pay for rent, in my little way its just to help someone.I also forgot to say that stove and refrigator are furnished.I have to tell you about our little county, People are very friendly, about the most crime you hear about is somebody getting drunk. Every now and then somebody gets busted for drugs . This is a farming area. When you go into town everyone knows you .No one acts like they are better than you are.I have been here 40 years and wouldnt give up this county for any where in the world. When I go to our little bank they start saying hello Wilma, the banker and employees treat us just like family.I ll have to tell you sometime how they thought I was from LONDON ENGLAND.They didnt know the difference between Eastern Ky talk. If you would like to come down and spend a few days to see if you would like it that would be fine .
