Do you decorate for the seasons with your kids?

Nora is 2 and really loves to color and paint, so I was thinking that I would draw and then cut out seasonal pictures such as Easter Eggs, Bunnies, Leprechauns etc as the seasons change and have her color and paint to her hearts content- what do you think?

I used to do that with our kids and when Cody was in 9th grade, I quit doing it because I thought he was too old and all the other kids were gone. I went to help a friend at her business one day, and when I came home, Cody had decorated the house himself - actually dug around in the attic and found what we had from past years and decorated the house. I couldn't believe it - obviously, you are going to be making important memories! And no, he's not a decorator today - he's a faux painter - but he recently moved into a new apartment and called and asked me to make curtains for it!

When my kids were younger we use to decorate their windows that faced the front of our apartment. They just loved looking and thinking of the holiday to come. It's helps to spur their creative side.

I do, Alee. Well not big time. but I have a door hanging for the front door for the diff seasons and I have some small pillows I change around and this year--with my kid size mannican---I put lights on. right now the tiny green lights and shimmery shamrocks are still on for St Pats Day. Need some easter stuff. I am sure Nora would love it. MB
