Please check out my new shop on etsy at www.smallfrys.etsy.com. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Sherri (I'm just learning to use the camera so I'm still practicing on the pictures!)

I have also set up an etsy store...
www.TheMercantile.etsy.com
My digital camera is an older one and it does not take closeups well. Somy pics are a bit blurry. I have told my DH that I want a new one for my birthday, which is coming up in a couple of weeks. So we'll see.
Take a look if you can. I hope to add more items soon.

I love this! I've been away for a while and have not kept up with the posts about etsy, but this is so cool! I've been making t-shirts on CafePress (it's here: www.cafepress.com/humboldthens)...just an experiment...so far I'm using photos, but what I really want to do is make t-shirts, calendars, etc. that feature some of the paintings I've done of eggs, hens, apples, flowers, etc.

Those are so cute! You are all so talented! I have a question about payment. First of all, this all works through a credit card, right? And how does PayPal work exactly. I am probably the only 22 year old around my area without a credit card (they scare me with their sly fees and I don't want one) and I have never bought anything on the internet so I'm not sure how this all works. Thanks!

You can use a debit card if it has a visa or mastercard symbol on it. I don't own a credit card..I ONLY use a debit card. Most folks will take a money order or check also, but boy, paypal is sure quicker.

Oh good! I might be getting a debit card soon anyway so that would be perfect. What about selling? Can a debit card be used with that too?

Hi Nicole -- you have to have a debit card to sell on Etsy. That way they can use it for payment of the listing fees. PayPal is very easy to use. You can set up an account, transfer money from your checking and then pay with the funds in your account. Or you can use a debit card through PayPal, too. Good for you for not having a credit card. Wish I had been that smart when I was 22. Cash is the only way to go!

Mine is just a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come together to praise the Lord, and teach all who look upon them to do likewise.
