I hope Miss Wilma can get back with us real soon, I know she has had a lot going on. I was thinking about her this morning and put a picture of a little bird she made for me on my site.

I know Nancy, I hope she's doing okay too! I sent her an e-mail to check on her, but never heard back. I figured she was at her son's or traveling. So if she see's this, we all hope you are doing and feeling better!!

Sometimes life can give us some rough blows, My mama will soon be taking radium treatments, she cannot do chemo, age and health was the factors in this, as for all the other test they all came back good. She had one lymph node bad.As for me well most of you know GRANDMA rolled out of the bed and cracked her ribs, on top of a pinched nerve I havent been as sprite as usual but I am getting ready for a CHANGE, spring is just around the corner my lilies are up , easter flowers are blooming and as soon as my ribs can handle a rake I will be fit as a fiddle. We did have some more sickness, our new grand son got the RSvirus and had to be put in the hospital two weeks ago. What in the Sam kingdom do these mothers think they can drag these little babies in and out of Walmarts and MCdonalds every day and they wont get sick I tried to tell them not to do it but my advise wasnt in the carry around baby raising book.I am not against baby books but along with that they should carry a common sense book.I did do a small antique show in Il a couple weeks ago, it was one of the best shows I have had in a long time, I rode up there with a pillow wrapped around me. I have definately decided that I dont want to make any more money, If I buy something I want it to be farm related totally tax deductible, I will grow what I eat, as for utilities, well I can get up to 75% off as long as I have my business whether its profitable or not.I am to the point of being tired of fat cats living high off the hog at our expense, got that off my chest, now for something better, , we almost have the cabin house done, I cant wait to show you pictures, We have a huge pond over there and are getting ready to drain it and make it lots bigger and stock with fish.We may do a pay for fishing thing. If it doesnt pan out I can always file a loss or eat all you catch.Does any one have a remedy for getting rid of turtles. The banks are lined up with them. I have missed everyone so much.I do ck in and read some post very quickly.Have been making dolls and made my first mule on a tobacco stick. I even got his ears to stand up. HE probably wont meet my dads inspection. Well after my dad retired and had hip surgery several years ago he just sat down and hardly gets up, I know he cant walk good now, but I now have my medical license, MY DAD HAS RECLINERITIS.Guess I better shut up, but to give you something to be thinking about, let me know if you might be planning to come to our fall gathering, we need to start making plans. I love you all Miss WILMA

My goodness! It's never a dull moment at your house. I'm sorry to hear about your grandson being sick. Bless his little bones! And I hope your mom will make a quick recovery. As for you, don't get to overzealous with yard work! Even though sunshine and fresh air might just do the trick for ya. It's very crazy around here and the kids are getting ready to start ball, but let me know and maybe I can finally get up there to visit. And I will definately be there for the Fall gathering! Glad to hear from ya! Farmgirl hugs, Tammy

Oh Miss Wilma, you do have a way with words and such as funny "bent" on things...tickles me.
I think of you every day as I'm putting clothes on my wooden rack. Gawsh but I love that thing for winter drying. I can get 2 full loads of wash on it. I have only used my dryer a couple of times the entire winter!
Turtles...hmmm, how about a Labrador Retriever? Maybe not...they'd keep coming back to ya over and over. Take care of those ribs, girl.
