Winter bids us ado For Spring has sprung; all things are new Tiny flowers from their earthen beds pop up their lazy heads. Streching, yawning, awakening to bright sunny days cold , ice and snow melts away For a new season ; awhile to stay How I longed for Spring's warm sunny days and delightful starlight nights. Rocking in a rocker on my front porch Sipping cool drinks ; resting from the day's chores Wondering what delights spring has in mind Pondering , as I watch a fawn frolock by nature in her glory reborn into a new season Temptating me to sing for the joy Spring brings So, goodbye winter oh so cold and dreary Spring has Sprung Bright and cheery
