My mom and dad run a country Bed and Breakfast and Farmhouse Inn. I have finally convinced them to start a blog! They've only been at it about 2 weeks but already have some great stories posted. I though some of you girls might enjoy reading about the adventures in a country Bed and Breakfast!

Here is the blog link: http://orchardhousebb.wordpress.com/

Here is the link to their main website: http://www.orchardhousebb.com/

If you happen by their blog leave a comment for my mom! It will help encourage her in this new adventure!

THanks girls!

What a beautiful place for a B&B. I am going to see how far it is from us. My hubby and I stayed in a B&B in N. Carolina on our 10th ann. 20 years ago. We keep saying we're going again. He wants to do something on our next one. So maybe there? It looks so peaceful I would not want to leave.

Do they still have the apple orchard?

That house is so beautiful and green, green grass, what a lovely place. I'd like to go on a quilt retreat there! Sounds like a really wonderful place, thanks for the tip...

Kristin - They don't have the apple orchard anymore. They are building a small vinyard though and a local winery will be making an EXCLUSIVE wine out of their grapes! If you decide to stay with them that would be awesome. Be sure to tell my mom your a "farmgirl" and you know her daughter Julie when you book!

Julie, what a beautiful old home..perfect for a B&B...I wish them great prosperity and happiness..I know it's a labor of love. I have one friend that bought a 5000 sq ft historic home and did the same thing..she spent years restoring it and furnishing it with the most beautiful antiques..I would love to just live in the slave quarters out back...it is so totally unique and cozy.
