I just came from the dentist and he did THREE root canals today. The dentist suggested I take 600mg of Ibuprofen and Vicodin until Moday. I would prefer to travel a different route for the pain- any suggestions??? Thanks Friends!!

The only pain I had was my jaw and mouth were sore from having them open for so long I thought the Root canal was supposed to take the pain away. I put a warm heating pad and was fine.
Great suggestion- I'll try that now. I have also tried to drink some warm tea, but my mouth is so sore right now. I now it will get better- I'm just a big baby. xoxo-- Lori
I feel your pain! I've had three root canals as well, just not all in one day! You're a real trooper! Take care and if the pain is bad take the ibuprofen at least! It's not like that will be a regular habit so once in a while its okay! :)
