Hey girls - I want to "wrap up" my proposal to large companies in a creative way, so I thought of taking my large brochure, the proposal letter & other info, the CD on top and wrapping it up nice and neat with light green or blue Kraft paper, tying it with a ribbon and a tag that has "from out of the Blue" on it (for Blue Sky Design Group).
I thought this would be a little more memorable, kinda like opening a present (who doesn't like presents?) than just putting it all in a manila envelope and shipping it to the head of the graphics department at a large firm.
Problem: I can't find any heavy-ish paper on a roll that would do the trick. Anybody seen some, somewhere? |

Stop by your local grade school and see where they get their "butcher paper" from, they always have it on big rolls and it comes in all sorts of colors! |

Hey - that's great! And guess what? DH is a teacher at an elementary school - how convenient is that?
Party stores - I think there is one in Chattanooga - I was planning on heading that way for a day in February anyway. Awesome! |

I got some green and regular tan at a party store last Feb and made vines and big jungle leaves and decorated the whole family room for my younget son's Jungle theme birthday party. You could just buy it by the inch or foot or something and it was really wide...and they had lots of colors.

Great idea...eye catching, memorable...good marketing! You are off to a fantastic start!!
We have a few paper mills within a couple of hours of home. We travel there and grab free rolls of paper. The ends of the rolls are just tossed out for trash. So many people, especially teachers, go out there that they now keep the paper rolls inside a warehouse so they won't get wet. It gets quite busy out there. Gals are pretty competitive and can also get mean when grabbing for the stuff.
Anyway, perhaps check for some paper mills in the area.
Blessings Catherine
