Linda has been in the hospital since last Friday with two clots. She is being treated to help disolve them and also some procedures to help "catch" them if they dislodge. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
Also if you need her address since she is Farmgirl of the Month- Send me an email!

Thanks Alee for updating us on Linda's condition. She is such a kind and brave soul. I pray that the clots are gone soon and she is feeling better.

Hi, everyone!
Thank you Alee, for getting this information out there. I just couldn't find time between working and going to the hospital to see my mom to sit down and send an update like my mom asked me to...sorry, mom!
Anyway, she went in last Tuesday into the ICU with two clots, one in her leg and one in her lung. She was immediately put on Heparin, and on Thursday they put a filter into her major blood vessel in her leg to catch any pieces of the clot if it broke apart. She was moved out of ICU that night, and has just been waiting. They started Coumadin, and yesterday took her off the Heparin. She had hoped to go home today, but the Coumadin levels aren't right, so she will still be in tonight.
It has been a long week for everyone, especially her and my dad! My dad got a stomach bug Sunday and was violently ill for 2 days. He did make it to see my mom yesterday (wearing a mask) but it exhausted him to do that. He is feeling a bit better now, and hopes to have the house neatened up for her possible return tomorrow.
I will be heading down there tonight to visit, but I look forward to her going home...it is a long ride to the hospital from my house!!
Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts...hopefully she can thank you in person tomorrow or Friday!
