Hi Peg... YES, YES, YES... I love this and love the system. We have been chatting about this a little over at endanger of extinction, there are several of us that use this system. You will love it!

I found the book at the libary on square foot gardening and also some videos aout it in Youtube. I am definitely going to try it this year. I'll probably just do 2 4x4 squares - one for me and one for the kids to work on :)

I've never heard of this before. I just sent it to every gardener in my family.

COOL! I saw where Rene mentioned it before but didn't have time to look it up then. I have had an idea similar to this swimming in my head but this seals the deal! This is PERFECT! I am totally doing this!

Rene - I would be interested in which veggie plants you plant together.

Thanks for the link! I'm going to check and see if my library has his books. I have very little sun in my yard, so this would be great to try out.

That's my problem too Dawn, not alot of sun, but I picked the sunniest spot in the yard and ordered the book, hopefully it will be here tomorrow, and I'm going to give it a try. Just trying to figure out how to make the grid for on top....

Julie, have you read "Carrots Love Tomatoes" by Louise Riotte? GREAT book for that.

I have all my spots picked out for my plants, who gets to sit next to whom, too - Rene it looks like we're on teh same page there! I should scan it and post it.
