I am thinking ahead......
I went to "The Quilt Fest of New Jersey V 2009" on Friday. Lots and lots of great quilts on display.
This one caught my eye as a possible swap for us Farm Girls.
I will make up a pattern that we should base our blocks on. I will post a sign up the end of July. I just thought I would show you this quilt to temp you....Think about it....Look for a sign up this summer...

Below are a few more quilts. A lot of quilts you could not take photos of.

The show was at the Garden State Exhibit center in Summerset, exit 10 off 287.
I go every year. I took a class with Jackie Robinson of Animas Quilts. Weaver Feaver pattern.
She was a very good instructor. I finished 4 blocks in class. 8 more at home. I hope to make another 8 this weekend. It is a real nice pattern. Check out her site below.

With a pattern all our bodies, heads and wings will be relatively the same size.
Angel block up close:
The quilter made all the blocks and then had some young kids put faces on them. Cute Idea. I should have taken a photo of the write up on this quilt.

Carrie,
Truth be told...I am so busy right now I don’t have a lot of time. And I was kind of thinking that maybe others were busy. I could possibly start the swap in June at the soonest. Would June work for everyone???
I would like to get at least 12 swappers. I was thinking that we would swap 12 blocks each. Each block would be 8 1/2 inches. I promise to work on a pattern and post it on my blog real soon.
I am glad to see so many of you interested. This is what makes hosting a swap so enjoyable.
