It took me by suprise. I probably would have heard it on the tv or somewhere. What's the deal? I thought is was April when the time changed. I think it is too early. Too many kids have to stand down at the road, in the dark, waiting for the school bus. Hasn't the government figured out that you really can't save any daylight? |

I went on "strike" last year about the time change. I didn't change a single clock for months. It didn't do any good. I think they need to just leave it alone. It messes people up, especially little kids. And the animals don't know the time's changed. They still have to be milked or fed the same time. Or else! But that's just my opinion, for all it's worth.

It took me by surprise too - it was weird waking up in the cold, dark morning, but I got to see the sun rise again.

It wasn't easy getting my son up for school, (harder for me then him), but I think by tomorrow we'll be used to the new time. I love that my husband will be home from work now before it is dark.
I saw a chipmunk running across my sidewalk this morning, so I guess spring is around the corner.

I'm still not awake! I wish I knew what the REAL time is. They keep making it what ever they want it to be. We usually get up at 4:45, so I think that meant that today, not being used to the new time I was getting up at 3:45. I need to lay down now.

Ok, I woke up this morning at 3:45. I thought it was already like at least 6:30 because it was so bright outside. The moon must have been really full. So I tried to go back to sleep and I laid there for the longest time and I guess I finally fell asleep. Woke back up at 6:30. But it was really 5;30. My goodness, I don't like this. I am so tired right now, I just want to go to bed. But Dancing with the Stars comes on tonight! Yeah! My 2nd favorite show.
Oh and on the news the other night they said that heart attacks increase when we change the time forward and decrease when it goes back. So there is another reason to leave the time alone.
And Nancy's right. Does anyone really know what time it is????

Last night I took a muscle relaxant for my back so I slept really well and I think that helped me not have problems with this time change. Going to bed at 8 before time change 9 after time adjustment was so great. I have been much more energetic today. I think being able to sleep until you are done helps the body reset the internal clock.
I am so ready for spring and warmer days! This is going to be a fantastic year!!

We live in Arizona from November until May each year and Arizona's time never changes ...it stays the same. However, I constantly have to think about being an hour later than the states around me for part of the year! Especially when one of those states (Nevada) is 3 minutes away!!!! Anyway, so now I'm happy because I'm on time with everybody else again (Well, Pacific Standard time, anyway!
