Nancy, Cheryl, Toni and all.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, the sedatives they gave me for today's procedure knocked me out pretty good. I'm still a bit loopy. As soon as I got home this afternoon I went to sleep and just got up a bit ago. From what the ultrasound showed they staged the cancer as T1N0Mx. So I think that it has been caught very early. I asked the Dr. who did the ultrasound endoscopy what that meant and he said the surgeon I'm being referred to would tell me more. But he did say that I will probably have the surgery where they take out some or all of the esophagus. He didn't think I'd need chemo, but wasn't sure. So I guess I'll have to wait. Of course I'm going to check out who he is recommending and probably get more opinions as well, it can't hurt.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers during this time. It's still a bit scary not really knowing what's next but it is comforting knowing I have you wonderful ladies in my corner. I love you all!

Hugs!
