Several years ago I bought a bucket of the old style clothespins, you know the ones, all one piece--made of wood(no spring). I've carted these from IL to CT now to ID. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do with them other than make Christmas ornament projects? I'm afraid if I don't use them soon DH will want me to get rid of them when I start cleaning out my storage unit. All ideas welcome!

It seems we made an angel out of them in Girl scouts I will do some thinking. You can always use them to hang out clothes too.

Diana, that's the only things I could really think to do with them also. At the moment I don't have a clothesline although I do want DH to put one up, but we have so much else to do all the time I haven't bothered him with it yet. He would actually have to doze me another "level" spot to put one because our back yard is still sloped. Only our front and side yards got leveled and grass put in. Still a work in progress here. You've seen that little sign that says something like "I have so much work I'll never die" well, that was made just for us.

BTW: I won't be able to check this until Monday night or Tuesday as we are heading to MT again for an Angus Bull Auction. But I hope that won't keep girls from posting their ideas anyway.

Cindy, you could hang a string in your laundry room and place small doll clothes on it or hang really cool pics with them. I made soldier ornaments when I worked in a historic museum. They were pretty cute. I wish I had some for hanging out my clothes as these new ones nowadays keep breaking on me and I have a hard time telling which end is up. Good luck.

Cindy , check back through the forum . I think some people were making dolls out of them and there was a clothespin exchange around Christmas...

Nancy Jo.. do you have an iron on for a barn, or chicken or rooster ... I want to do some embroidery work. I would be willing to buy it from you?

Gail, that sounds like a cute idea, but my laundry room is so small and it's where the back door that we use all the time is. I don't have room to do that. Thanks for the great idea though.

Thanks ladies, I'll check back through here and I'll "google" and see what I can find.
