I'm going to the college to take an entrance test then to the unemployment office to get a packet of form for college approval. Not very exciting but necessary. Then I'm going over to a friend's house for dinner and we're going to a Bunco party.

Doing laundry. Making croutons (farm kitchen topic) and working on tonights supper (hamburger Stroganoff form farm kitchen topic). If it wern't for this forum, I'd just be doing laundry. Too cold to go outside. Should be cleaning like Diana, getting ready to get outside everyday.

About an hour ago I just got done plowing ours, and my parents driveways. Dads took me 2 hours. What a snowy drifty mess. Work was super slow this morning, so I left. Not much fun for me today.

Well working, then to Mom's, and then on to the grocery store. Then hopefully I'll get to finish a book I've been trying to for the past month. hehe

Well, it was supposed to be addressing and filling out Bridal invitations today, but I find myself on a forced bedrest. Dreaming of Spring for today! :) That can be almost as good as the real thing.:) (I hope they wait for me on those invitations.:P)

I had planned to go to the post office today to mail some packages, but was diverted by a phone call from my son, who needed a ride somewhere. It is raining off and on here today, so it should be a real icy mess when it gets cold. I am making chicken curry for supper and doing a little hand quilting on a small wall hanging. I got some old blocks on eBay. They are in kind of rough shape, but I love to rescue these old bits and pieces. They are sunflower blocks, hand sewn, on very thin muslin, almost like cheesecloth...I think they are from the thirties, there's a lot of nile green, a favorite at that ime. I put a border on a suare and embroidered on the edges of the sunflower and now I'm going to see what I can do for a quilt design. I like to wing it, just start sewing, and of course with a small project if you don't like the look, it can easily we ripped out and redone...It is always a fun day for me if I get to do a bit of hand sewing...

This Friday was a great one for me. I took care of Gram ma, then off to the thrift then I stopped at my friend Nancy's and she gave me a lot of cool things. She told me I could take any box I wanted but I couldn't open it until I went home. She figured if I opened it in front of her she would want it back. I couldn't wait to get home but I had a few stops to make first. After putting away all my treasures before DH came home I went for a walk around the block and there was an estate sale going on so I got a lift chair for my dad for $100. It's a lot of money but he's worth it and needs it. So I had a great day. Check out my blog and see a few of the items I got. Have a Sunny day!!

Well today I did just morning house stuff and then an old friend came visiting and we had coffe and I made cookies so they were nice and just out of the oven fresh. Then my friend left and I took Bingo and we were going for a walk down by the river and then I met another friend and took the dog home and we went out for late lunch. AND......then at 5:00 I went and picked up my Pygora babies, they are soooooo sweet. Fixed a place in the barn for them, fed them and Kylee fed the horses and now here I am at the computer telling you about my day. Whew!!!!! MB

I spent all day splitting logs on my Dad's log splitter. We are expecting a storm in Northern Ca. to hit tomorrow so I tried to get things buttoned up. Oh yeah, and cleaned house and stalls per usual. I can't tell you how happy that splitter made me as I didn't have to do it by hand like all last year. Got SO much more done. Sounds like you all have had a pleasant Friday. So many cozy little scenes were conjured up reading your posts. : )

I spent Friday quilting, working on the computer, grocery shopping, cleaning, re-arranging a couple of cabinets, taking things to Goodwill, then hubby and I went to Ruby Tuesday with a two for one couplon! It was a mild but windy day. It was nice to have a day when I was not committed to anything specific. Tomorrow (which is today, because I am late posting here) I am baking my MJ bread and also the bread machine bread and planting my sugar snap peas.
