Mia Marie arrived on February 18, 2009!!

We are madly in love and enjoying each moment of wonder together. I woke up at 6:00 am last Wednesday with clearly labor contractions. We called Mom to come stay with Stella and I took a very quick shower. We made it to the hospital by 7:30 am and I had a fast wonderful labor and she arrived at 9:29 am. I was able to do it naturally again and the birth of both my girls will always remind me I am capable of anything as a woman, which I know will also come in handy having two girls at certain stages of their lives. But watching Stella (Stella is two now) with Mia just doesn't have words. Life is so so good. We are just lost in love and happiness and lack of sleep and couldn't be happier about it all.

MaryJane's daughter,

Meg

Congratulations! It is so good to hear that you are drinking in this moment. Pregnancy and child birth is something we can only experience for a short period of time and we should all embrace it as you have. Isn't it just amazing how much strength we women of the weaker sex have . I raise a toast to you and your family ENJOY!

live well,

Congratulations, Meg and Family!!! The photo is lovely, even if wee Mia looks a bit uncertain of Stella's embrace. Thanks for sharing your good news! FarmGirl Hugs! Judy

They are both beautiful little girls. You remind me of myself, Meg. I had both my girls naturally and the nurses were all amazed I was up walking just a few minutes later. I would do it all over again, too. I loved being pregnant and the labor was a breeze. The rest of it was the hard part!

Enjoy those beauties and savor every moment. They will be grown all too soon.

Meg and all - so happy for you! So glad your labor was short, too! My daughter's was also about two hours long. I was there with her and hubby, and so glad it was short too! Your two little gals are beautiful, and maybe, just maybe, this little one favors Lucas. What do you think? Congrats, sweet lady.

Congratulations! She's absolutely gorgeous.

That feeling of "I know how strong I am now" is wonderful, isn't it? I did my first with pain medication after 17 hours in the hospital but did my second two at home with no meds. It's truly empowering. I'm so happy you're basking in those happy mommy hormones right now. Much love.
