Oh...don't even get me started on ice cream! I am SO BAD!!!! I can't eat just one cone...I have to have 3 or 4 and my cholesterol was going up, up, up! I hate milk but LOVE ice cream....I can't buy it or I will eat the whole half gallon in a matter of days and once in awhile I will binge but I just can't do it anymore on a regular basis! My Mother was the same way.....in fact she had a stroke and when they found her she had been eating an ice cream cone (my Father had gone to the bank and she was sneaking one thinking no one would be the wiser!) but of course she was found out but there are some joys in life that just can't be abandoned and ice cream is definitely one of them! Ahhhhh.....and so many flavors and so little time! Enjoy and I am convinced that it is a healing food for sure!!!! I don't think the ice cream cone caused my mother's stroke and she died later and I am SO GLAD she was gutsy and had her ice cream anyway!

ok,
did i mention that this ice cream was the light version, which advertises 1/2 the fat and 1/3 less fewer calories than regular ice cream!
anyone headed to the store yet?
i only hope my hubby doesn't like it that way it will be mine all mine!!

Hi, my name is Anna and I have an ice cream addiction.

Some days when shopping, I'll LOAD the cart down with about 8 half gallons of various flavors.

It helps to have a chest freezer that can be packed full.

Hubby gets all embarassed when I shop like this.

Hey, I just know a good ice cream bargain when it comes around and to be sure, take full advantage!

This time of year around these parts, it's the Edy's Girl Scout flavors that abound. Mmmm Thin Mint and Samoa.....

i'll forever be a die hard Breyer's fan, mint choc chip or cookies 'n cream

It's ALL good, and that's the problem!

Glad your toe and tummy are feelin' good

I am so glad I am not alone in my love for ice cream. I do not have any calicum glands, the md. goofed when I had my thyroid removed. There's alot of things in your neck I found out. Anyway that is my excuse for eating ice cream. ( I am having a dish now). For lent I decided to walk around the block at least 1x a day. It's only a mile or so. I used to give up chocolate just so I could different ice creams. Life is good. Glad your doing better.

Have a nice day.

I just finsihed some homemade ice cream. I just got to taste it when it is done. I wouldn't want anyone else to eat it if it was bad!!!!!! Ice Cream always makes me feel better!

hi ladies,
i say have a little ice cream!!! its cheaper than a new pair of shoes! and i think we can all afford a little ice cream treat even in today's world. i say make yourself an ice cream eating apron and have at it, explore new flavors and textures. its sort of like traveling, a mini vacation so to speak.
can't find any girl scout ice cream flavors in my neck of the woods, sounds so good, must be an east coast thing.
i don't suppose an ice cream swap would work---way to messy.
i am off my crutches now, i fell using them so have taken to hobbling around, getting quite good at it.
has anyone tried the yogurt, ice cream blends, they are very good, i like the chocolate, vanilla blend.
anyway,,,,, back to my ice cream!

These days I don't pay attention to the calorie or fat content. The reduced variety is sooo good, but so are the full tilt flavors too.

Nothing can hold me back
