Dutchy,

Here's someone's blog that talks about flour sack towels (easier than typing it all out!) ;)

you are signed up, Marcy Jo. There is no set deadline. That will be up to you and your partner to decide when you want to have it done and to each other by. Sharilyn will be your partner, so you two can get together on the details. :) So glad you are joining us!!
hugs

I've been remiss in reporting that I've already gotten my towel from my partner. Lizabeth sent the cutest flour sack, embellished with a pink cotton hem and a little redwork Sunbonnet Sue baking. I love it! I keep telling myself I'm going to learn how to post pictures here but so far haven't had the time. I also must confess that I'm still working on Lizabeth's towel (where does that time go?).

All hope is not lost, I may still figure out the picture process yet (yea, right!)

Interestingly, I actually used serger thread for the embroidery. I like the cotton look of that thread, though it has strength and "bleachability" since it is polyester. Also the neat thing is that it comes in so many colors!

That is so pretty Lizabeth! I love the printed material too! It reminds me of the 50s aprons.;)
Has anyone else finished or gotten theirs? We are still hoping to see pics!

I sent Tammy's this passed week. Should be there anytime now. :D

hugs all

Lori (Crafter) Did you ever get your tea towels?
I don't remember seeing any thing come across my e-mail.
But I have been having trouble with it.

Just wondered.
