Hello! I wasn't sure where to post this topic, but the swap shop was the closest match. Do any of you farmgirls know of a source (other than ebay) for an old fashioned letterpress & letterpress blocks? I have found the blocks on ebay, but just don't have the heart to keep losing auctions. As far as a traditional letterpress is concerned, I know they are expensive...but I'm hoping to find one someday. They are hard to come by, so in the meantime, i was going to start collecting old blocks. Just wondering if any of you ladies have any insights about letterpressing. Lots of love Judes
Thank you for posting the link to that website, Bridge. I am also fascinated by the idea of having my own old-fashioned letterpress. I'll have to start keeping my eyes open for one at antique stores this year. I think it would be so interesting to be able to print things without having to go near a computer!
Sincerely, Elizabeth
