Hubby's bday card:
Blue cardstock for the card. Tiles are two pieces of watercolor paper that I painted with watercolors. The blue one was a graduated wash, with just one very light coat of blue on top, and adding more coats and color as I went to the bottom. The orange was done similarly, but from the center out, and then sprinkled with salt. When the pages were dry, I just cut them into squares on my Cricut and glued them on. I wish that the bottom left tiles were straighter, but that's what happens when you have too many interruptions.
