is why is my refrigerator door handle always dirty. And why my husband think its my job is to scrub the counter tops. I must admit I do a better job..because he "man-cleans... That means he surface cleans. He always offers to help in the kitchen cleanup, and why he leave crumbs on the counter, Why he leaves food bits in the sink drain screen w/suds, and why he tosses wet dish towels in the laundry hamper instead of hanging them to dry. And my biggest gripe is He Never puts a new trash liner back in the can after he takes out the trash.. I swear I have a house of kids again!

Cheryl, at least he tries! My hubby tries sometimes but I usally have to go back behind him and do it over. Besides, he doesn't know where anything is! The poor guy would die of starvation if I was gone all day. He can't find anything because he won't bend over to look. I keep the little hand towels in behind the bath towels on the shelf and I've told him this and showed him, too. But he always has the big huge bath towels by the sink. Oh well, it's a towel.

Men are definetely "surface" guys. I think it's beneath their dignity to bend over.

LOl,, yeah you may be right.. Clay will look in the refrigerator or cupboard and ask me where something is and It is usually right in front of his nose.. No bending required...

I've heard it called "male refrigerator blindness" when they look in the fridge and can't see it right in front of their nose.

I remember a "where's the mayonnaise" when I had just sat down at the end of the day. I said, it's right there, top shelf, slightly to the right."

"I don't see any."

"If I have to get up and show you..."

"I can't see it. We're out."

It was right there, in front, large jar....

I love my husband. He probably cleans better than I do, but that fridge thing always gets me! lol

My fiance tries so hard...I'm just a little over clean...But he tries, and he does a good job. But some things he does I just will never understand!
