Ugh......I have been working on a document for a day and a half now for work. Something important which needed to be done like...yesterday! Well anyhow, I blinked and my computer went on the fritz. Needless to say....my entire excel world full of pages, sheets, and hiperlinks crashed and it is gone forever. I tried recovering it and it is just G.O.N.E.... ...I had to get up and go outside for some fresh air [just fresh air...I haven't smoked in 27 days...though I just thought about it, but immediately got over the urge  ]. I've now returned to my desk and am going to try it all over again....SAVING MY WORK ABOUT EVERY 2 MINUTES NOW THOUGH!!!

I'm so sorry you lost all your hard work - that is so disappointing, I know. Our computer crashed Christmas Eve - gee, what a present. We have recently gotten a new one and we are up and running - it's just a love/hate relationship with technology - isn't it? I sure do hope your day gets better and by the way, congrats on the "not smoking" thing you mentioned! Sounds like a new years resolution that's working!!! Blessings, Cathy

Jamie, I am so sorry that happened to you. I think I would have cried, then screamed a little, then thrown the darn thing out. That's just too much work. But I hope you are able to get it done.
And BTW, good for you for not falling into the temptation to grab a smoke when things go bad. That is showing how much you've come, girl! Good for you!

I can relate, completely. One time i closed out some documents on the Fire Chief's desktop, not realizing, at the time, that it would close out both his word document and mine! I screamed, then cried. But now... I can laugh. We both learned to turn on autosave at that point.

I just hate when that happens. Hope you remembered a lot of the information and can get your document done fast. Good luck.
