I had a dream last night that I was in a meeting at an old grange hall (COULD have been WW, but I'm pretty sure is was a Sisterhood meeting!) and I had this idea I presented where, at the next meeting (must have been early spring), we had a fabric scraps and seedling exchange. We each brought our fabric scraps (and yardage if we wanted) and little peat pots of the different seedlings we started. We got tickets for quantity (grocery sack of scraps was 5 tickets, each seedling was 1 ticket, etc.) and we had a big exchange, using the tickets as our currency. It was REALLY fun but, alas, I don't have a chapter to belong to so I guess it really was a dream! I think I'm having nightmares about all the fabric I will have on hand if they don't change the CPSIA!

I desperately want a chapter too.. I would join here ....I cannot connect with the right people here to do that... yet.. maybe in the spring. I have made flyers, checked in at the library, natural food store.. Perhaps I am a lucky one who doesnt work outside my home as Retired now and nobody I have met wants to take on a commitment.... I do have a meeting next week with a lady, she is the one I bought my chickens from, She wants to come see the "girls" & my Farmgirl home.. so maybe giving her the MJ magazine inspired her??? wondering....Do I have to dust?

wish you'd been in Ohio yesterday...some of us Flora Farmgirls went to the Goodwill for an outing and then to dinner. I got 3 100% cotton tiered skirts, 2 linen tops, a beautiful gold leaf china dinner plate and sunflower salt & pepper shakers..$15.90....we had lots of fun! We had our meeting at the restaurant and we're meeting at my house on the 8th of February for a mending party and baking tons of brownies to sent to a friend of my son's who's in Iraq....hop on a bus and come join us!
