Do we have any farm girls that enjoy reading the Small Farmer's Journal? My husband and I enjoy this magazine but we can't hang onto all of the back issues and we would like to see them go to a good home. You know how it is when you pay so much for a magazine, and/or they contain so much good info. that you can't bear to toss them, or even recycle them? We like to pass ours on to others who will give them a thorough reading and might know others they can share them with.
There is no charge for the magazine itself but the postage will add up so if anyone is interested in these for the price of shipping, I'd love to send them your way.
Here are the issues we have available:
Fall - 1999 Summer - 2000 Fall - 2000 Winter - 2001 Spring - 2001 Winter - 2002 Summer - 2002 Fall - 2002 Winter - 2004 Spring - 2004
Lots of great info. on homesteading.

I would be so interested!!! I have only read other people's copies and would love to have these. If you get lots of interest though I would be interested most in the older ones, if you decide to divide them up. Let me know how much you need for postage!!!

I am most interested in anything on starting a small farm and composting. Will split with whomever is interested. Thanks for sharing. I am not familiar with these but need as much info as I can get. I am looking to start a farm tha can sustain my family and show a small income so I can work from home. Thanks! Blessings Beth

Jenny and Beth: How about I send each of you five of them? Jenny, I'll send you 1999-2001, and Beth, I'll send you 2002-2004. Just e-mail me your mailing addresses and I'll get these off to you. You will be able to see the postage label with the amount on it when they get to you, and you can just mail me that amount. Warning: They are larger than a manilla envelope so I will have to ship them in boxes but will use media mail to keep the cost down.
Can you get my email address through this forum? I think you can. Let me know on here if you can't.
I'm so glad you two can use these mags!

Jenny and Beth....you hit the jackpot! Congrats!
Bev...I am so impressed that you can "let go" I am so possessive with my books and mags....it's really a problem. Perhaps you have given me a push in the right direction of decluttering!
Blessings Catherine

Catherine, Books and favorite magazines are really difficult to part with. My books are some of my most prized possessions ;) Some, I can never part with; others, I donate to our small community library or a friend so that I can "visit" them again; and ones that I truly didn't connect with, I garage sale or donate to Goodwill, etc. However, don't be too impressed with my "letting go" because it is indeed a painful process! LOL

Wow Bev- just got them and they're great. Thank you so much. Best part of the day is when you go to your mailbox and there is farmgirl things waiting for you. On the same day I got my chapter starter kit and the most delicious oranges from ByHzGrace( Ellen) oh thanks to all you are all the best!
Julia- I will study these and then pass them on to you. Email me with your address. Also Patti is interested in them, maybe when you are done you could send them her way, share the wealth as they say! Blessings to all! Beth

Julia, Maybe not. Paul is cleaning the library shelves again and I know we had duplicate SFJ. Let me see what he's done with them
