My house is a disaster! Even with the cleaning challenges...its a disaster. So I have started doing an hour at a time in a particular location. Then I get a break (like what I am on right now) then I go back and and pick another location.

I just did my first hour of the day. I picked doing the kitchen, but ended up spending a bit of time fixing a clogged sink, then after doing the dishes, I cleaned underneath the sink and had to wash ALL of my cleaning rags because they got wet from me fixing the clogged sink. Yuck. So my next effort will have to be done using minimal cleaning rags because I think I only have five or so that were in a load waiting to be folded!

I need to get my house clean and organized. I hate when it is dirty and love when it is clean. I just wish my husband felt the same way!!

I just did another hour... but I adjusted the time as I had to stop to help Nora so that stopped the clock. My kitchen is looking pretty good about now and I have dinner going in the crock pot! I still need to finish the floor and the rugs that go on the floor though! So it looks like today's project is to finish the kitchen and get a start on the dining room! 3 hours of solid work should be a pretty good day. I might even get 4 in! By that time, it will then be time to get Doug from work and after he gets home...time to hit the books for college work!

Ugh!! Alee - you just named what I will be doing tomorrow. With all the crazy weather every day off I have had has included my son and husband which is not conducive to any sort of cleaning - the house is a mess!!
Good luck with yours

Thanks Amy Grace!

On the way home from picking my husband up, I threatened him if the kitchen doesn't stay clean! LOL So I think my progress might actually last more than a night! Tomorrow I tackle the dining room, kitchen and entryway! Yikes!

Okay I am about to wake up Doug so he can watch Nora while I do homework for the next hour. Then I will take him to work and run an errand for my mom. By the time we get back, it should be roughly noon and Nora will be going down for a nap! During Naptime I do homework as well so the dining room project will have to wait till after nap.

I just cleaned the kitchen, scrubbed the kitchen floor and scrubbed the toilet - am taking a farmgirl break with a MJF book or magazine for inspiration - then back at it
Happy cleaning:)

Thanks Amy Grace! Nora is supposed to be falling asleep right now so I am going to be working on Finite Mathematics for the next few hours. Then back to cleaning!
