Ladies,
If you're lookin' for some great ideas (you can also share some of your own)-check out this website: www.junkmarketstyle.com. I joined the junkmarket over a year ago and it's changed and grown. Sooooooo many talented people with such great ideas. I've shared some of my own and have "kindly" borrowed some other ideas. You never know what will turn up on the site. You can also check out: www.junkrevolution.com. for my junkin' ideas. Hope this helps.

Wow, it sure didn't take them long to get it on here. Thank you MaryJane, Carol and Gabe.
I don't really have any frugal tips and tricks at the front of my mind at the moment. You know how it is - you do things a certain way for so long that you don't even stop to think about whether or not it's frugal! But, I'm anxiously awaiting anybody else's ideas.

Cool new topic! I'm just about as poor as a church mouse so I'll be keeping my eye on this one, lol!
One great thing I've been learning lately is how much can be made from scratch at home- things I never thought I could make. Bagels, tortillas, pita bread, pizza dough- it's all totally doable and saves a lot of money instead of buying them pre-made from the store. If you have an old 'Joy of Cooking' around, you are set to go!

I posted this idea on another link but not very many farmgirls have seen or checked the link out so I thought I would also share it here. You can make a great hatstand out of a wooden free standing paper towel holder (might cost $1 at the thrift store) and small wooden salad bowls (almost about $1 at the thrift or even less at yard sales).
Invert the bowel on the top the towel holder (I have used a large wooden candlestick as well or let your imagination soar) screw it down, paint your color choice and voila! you have a great sturdy hat stand to display those cool hats you collect.

Yay - I love the new topic!! Amy Grace And yes, Meg, it is amazing how much you can make at home. We are trying to save money right now for a trip and my husband is working less hours because of the weather, and just with changing our buying habits we are able to save money even with less money!!

Rose, I like the hat stand idea. That is great. I have hats that I like to wear but they will do much better on a hat stand.
