I would love to be able to send cards to some of the farmgirls who have recently lost loved ones or are sick or have been hospitalized, but need addresses. I have kept the Christmas card list, so I have those, but need so many more now. Every time I read of someone's illness or loss, I want to send out a card to them.
Is there a master list of addresses somewhere on here? Or could we start one for anyone who wants to be on the list? Or should I just ask people to e-mail me?
Any suggestions would be great. I have the slowest computer due to dial-up right now, so I will not be much help getting them together. I hate to suggest something and then ask someone else to do it.
Thanks, ya'll. Kris

You know I was thinking the same thing! I'm wondering if someone was a point person and we could just email addresses to that person and they just keep track of them. If you want your address to be known then you can email it to the sister and she can keep a "roledex" of addresses. I'm willing to head it up, I just don't want to do anything that is "illegal" or step on any toes. Let me know what you think. And Kristin I am more then willing to do it and then get you a list. Me myself I have the list of all the Christmas card exchange and as well as other from doing bartering! Let's see what the feed back is and what we can do. If anyone hears of anything let us know!

AS far as I know there isn't anything illegal about this as long as the girls you ask for it from are the ones giving it to you or they have massed it out like in a Christmas card list. ;) I know we have lots of RAOK lists around too, so most everyone has lots of address but I dont think any one person has them all. ;) Over time, we've been asking the people that we know are closely associated with the other person to see if it would be okay to have it/get it. It would definitly be helpful for someone to gather up the list so everyone could have every one elses that wanted to be involved. :) Rather than having to get them from any one person it might be nice for everyone to be able to be emailed a copy. ;)
Laura--a sign up for it sounds great! :)

Ok, It's set....So if any of you would like to be part of a FarmGirl Address Directory, please send me your info. I will then start putting together a file with everyone's address, then I will send it to those of you who participated in it. I will not use it for any thing else except Farm Girl Connection Information. And only those who I have addresses from will be able to get addresses. I need your address to give out other addresses. After I get a file started and get a good number I will then email them out to you! Let's get this directory going....Again if anyone out there knows of why we can't or shouldn't do it please let me know! Yeah for snail mail!

Great, Laura, I knew someone could do this!! There are a few I'd like right now to start with. So I'll e-mail you.
Thank you, thank you!! You are wonderful, farmgirl friend!
And a great place to gert really cute inexpensive cards is at the dollar store. Yep, for just $1 you can get a cute pack of 10 cards in a pretty gauzy draw-string pouch. Just thought I'd pass that little tidbit on.
Thanks again, Laura. Kris

Keep them coming ladies. Along with your address if you could please put your sign on name so that way I can match names up with your actually name and address that would be very helpful. I will collect for about a week then I will send out what I have and then update. If for some reason you need someone who isn't on the list let me know and I will get you their info if I have it. Farm Girl Hugs!

Hello Ladies! So I asked my wonderful fiance and he suggested that I put them into an excell sheet and then upload on the back end of my website and password it. So you would have to email me and I would password the page, and only those of you who have the password could get to it. That way when I update it everyone would just be able to get to it? How does that sound? So I will let you know when I launch it and then will email everyone who has already emailed me with their info! Just think, it will be in one place all the time and you don't have to reprint new updated addresses...I'm trying to think green! Farm Girl Hugs!

THat sounds like a good plan. I know some of us have stinky dial up and getting in the page would be a whole lot easier than trying to download an emailed page. :) hugs oop..laura I forgot to send my sn in with my address....ugh! :P

Ok, So I was mistaken, you would have a password to down load the link...so we can try that...If for some reason you just need one person's address I could always cut and paste into an email or just email the list to you! Thanks, the list is started and it is growing! Farm Girl Hugs!

Thanks Ladies! I just wanted to put a little side note up here, even though you were on the christmas mailing list or we may have bartered, your name and info isn't going on the list unless you respond to this posting and email me! This way you are giving me permission and you know that your name is going on the list! Farm Girl Hugs!
