I want to make some handkerchiefs, and if I am sucessful, I would like to embroider some as well.

I bought some 200 thread count white cotton muslin at Joann's the other day and it feels like the right weight and texture, but I am thinking about the edging, should I just serge the edges?

I've never done this before, but had the idea that it would be fun and easy....anyone done this before and have a words of wisdom to share.

I am not sure if you are going to do these by hand or not but here is a link that I had found a few months back. You could also use your machine if you have a machine with a rolled hem attachment.
