Hello Ladies! So I have taken the first few steps in getting a Farmgirl Chapter started here in the North Hollywood/Los Angels area. I haven't set a date yet, nor do I know what I am going to do, I'm just trying to get the word out there! So if you are a city farm girl in need of a chapter let me know. Also I am curious as to what the other chapters do at your meetings. Just want a few ideas at what is going on out there. Since I am new at this. I plan on going to some of the local farmers markets and putting flyers up at their information booth! I'm super excited!

Hey Laura, Congrats you will have so much fun.. We have a great group of gals and we do all kinds of things. We had a cookie exchange over the holidays, we have had an apron making party, we have done meet and greets, Picnic in the park... We also try to hit some of the projects that maryjane offers in her books and magazines, like the rag rug and things like that... You can have guest speakers come in or whatever you wanna do.. Just go and have a great time. Make sure to keep us updated as it is always fun to hear what everyone is up to.
Thanks Rene! I have been surfin through the website and keep coming across some fun ideas. So I think I just need to get it started. Then from there I will see where the fun takes me. I'm plannin on coming to the BBB and hopefully getting lots of ideas from that! I'm super excited! Farm Girl Hugs!
