In order to keep the TV off, I listen to NPR nearly all day long. OK, when Dr. Phil comes on, I sometimes watch it.

I get my news from the TV, newspaper, and NPR. I also follow some news on the Internet.

Definitely NPR - if you are concerned with the economy the program Marketplace really goes in depth in explaining economic issues. I really appreciate that. Then the BBC is good for finding out what is going on in the rest of the world. and the National Weather Service Website has become a go-to this winter:)

Whoops - just reread and realized you were asking about on-line - sorry about that. At least the National Weather Service thing fits the question

Another NPR fan here - my mornings always start with coffee and WBUR out of Boston. While I rarely watch TV news, I will watch News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS. I abhor commercials which is the main reason I avoid commercial radio and the mainstream TV news programs.

I like the Drudge Report (drudgereport.com) Lots of domestic and international news. I think it really shows how we are all connected and reliant on each other. Especially in finance and political stuff.

Ditto the NPR also
