I got sick of my hair being heavy and and not having much life to it. So on this trip I have cut my hair 3 times. It used to be in the middle of my back...now it is between my ears and my shoulders! Boy will Doug be surprised! I have razor cut it mostly as my hair is thick but fine and it really needs thinning to have any sort of life at all. Also, some of the curl I think is because I always use a pony tail. So I cut off most of the curl and am hoping to let my hair grow in a bit more straight. The ends still flip out a bit weird but I guess that is what they make curling irons and flat irons for! I will get a picture of it in the next few days.

| Aww alee, it's soo cute! I love it. It frames your face just perfect, and looks so girly! Bethcha will like washing it for the first time, huh? I wish i was brave enough to chop mine off again. Last time I did it, i cut it at home just above my shoulder, and it was like 14inches or something. Then I regretted doing it...hah...we always want what we can't have. Imagine that? |

I wish I had the nerve to cut mine short. I would if I had the face for it. It looks great on you, Alee. Very nice and looks so easy to take care of, too. Good job. You did that yourself?

Alee, you look cute in all the pictures but the new cut really suits you. I love the bangs (just cut mine a week ago a la MaryJane) and it frames your pretty face so well. Great job, farmgirl!

Doug likes the cut and it is much easier to maintain...and yup! I cut it all myself! I used both scissors and a razor comb. Very cheap and I saved myself paying for at least 3 haircuts now!

The first picture was actually after I had cut my hair the first time. I had taken off about 6 inches and was feeling sassy. But then a couple days later I decided I wanted even more change. I really like it. It even looks halfway decent all bed-heady in the morning! LOL

Alee!!!! It's so you. I love it. You did such an awesome job. I once cut my own bangs to try to save money in between haircuts. OH WHAT A Disaster!! They ended up really short. My hairdresser told me never to pick up the scissors and touch my hair again. I did the same with hair color once. I've been toying with cutting mine off too. I actually made an appointment for next week. We'll see what happens.

Well it was really easy- I just did a pony tail at the nape of my neck, cut that to make the ends about the right length, then I used the razor comb to shape around my face as I love the feathered look but not right in my face (It's not pretty when you are brushing hair back from you mouth so you can eat! LOL) and then I started razor combing all around from the height of my ear lobe down. My razor comb has two sides so I used both to provide more texture and then I just blow dry it flat. The cut gives it enough volume and the drying keeps the natural wave out that makes it flip in weird directions. Oh and I also used the razor comb on the underneath to help it curl under.
