OK ladies - I have been working like crazy getting my website started for our business and the hard part is done!!!

As some of you know we sell a lot of items to stores but many of the customers are tourist and they want to buy after they leave our area. So.. I started on a web site. I just finised the layout and would LOVE to hear your honest input. The products will be placed on the site over the next few weeks. check it out www.thegoodearthfarm.com I can't wait to get some honest input because my brain has fried doing this thing

I think it looks great. Am also wondering about your essential oils? Would be interested in what scents you will have. I am making soy candles and would like a pure scent. Your site looks great and I look forward to going back!

Tamara, your site looks great and is really easy to move around in and find what you want. The pictures are beautiful and the quotes are very fitting. The only suggestion I have: get someone to proofread for you. I saw many spelling and a few grammatical errors. Obviously, you typed yourself to death creating this site and your eyes had to be incredibly tired from staring at the computer screen!

Thanks ladies - I really appreciate the comments. The hardest part for me with any marketing is getting the right look. I am feeling pretty good about the site but I am sure there will be some tweeking.

About the time I started on this web site my CEO at my real day job decided we needed a new website and all new technical brochures by years end. I ended up developing over 30 new brochures and a technical web site at the same time I was trying to do The Good Earth Farm........Talk about marketing overload.

Lisa - Thanks for the advice. My oldest daughter is going through and proof reading now. She is a para legal so she is great with the proof reading. Yes my brain was gone. I hope to reclaim it sometime in the furture

Hi Tamara,

Very nicely done!! I would suggest that for articles or other information that you share on your site, it would be better if you created the informations own web page and just add a link instead of having to open and download a file. Most people, I find with my site, don't like to download things to read them. They say you lose their interest within 3-4 minutes. Just keep it simple. For your first time out of the gate, you "done" good.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to look over the site. I really appreciate it. The proof reading is complete and i will spend tomorrow making the corrections.

I am really happy that so many of you enjoyed the photos and felt that the site was easy to navigate and inviting. That really was my goal. The hardest part for me was trying to achieve "the feel" I wanted and find the right pictures. Boy were the pictures time consuming! Hopefully this will be time well spent

live well,
