Nancy I like your obsession. You were focus on the light from your window but I liked the glow of your cabinets, very warm and cozy. The light is shinning here today and melting the heavy dusting of snow we got last night. Day after Christmas we had 70* weather w/ tornado watch. Storm damage in the city over 50 miles away.

Your Christmas cactus is beautiful. I have one and not sure what I need to do with it, does it need to go in a dark place b/4 Christmas? One of my clients gave me a piece of theirs from a 4 generations plant, it was a huge plant. I so want to take good care of this one which is growing good and flowered one time last year.

I can't comment on your blog, with this half working PC of mine : (

Linda,
Yes they like the dim light to bring them into bloom. But I think the change from the long summer days to the short winter ones does the trick. I don't put mine in a closet or anything. I have heard that some people do that. Sounds like yours is doing good.

LOve the plant
I had a jade plant that was as big as a small tree.
Unforunately it died
I cannot keep plants inside
I don't have a green thumb
Now my grandmothers and mom all had green thumbs.
Somehow, the plants just don't like me. Sheila
